A dark ruby red with a full body and mellow tannins. Thick, sweet and complex on the finish and marked by aromas of spices and black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberries.
An intriguing nose - reminiscent of wild herbs and wormwood alongside its succulent red fruit flavors and light floral note. As always at Grosbois, the tannins are well handled - coating the palate with a chocolate powder-like texture. Incredibly satisfying.
