One of the most interesting pink wines we’ve come across. 100% Gaglioppo from 30 year old vineyard located in Cirò (Crotone district), with a south/south-east exposure – sand and clay soil. Juicy, spicy and ripe, it offers a delightful nose of red cherry, raspberry and aromatic herbs. Finishes long and mineral with a mouth-watering a sweet and sour tang.
An outstanding Rosato showcasing just how suited Gaglioppo is to making pink wines.

Coteaux d’Aix en Provence
Named after Madeleine Herbeau, co-owner of the estate, this very Provençal rosé distinguishes itself with intense fruit and floral aromatics. Everything is fresh and in focus on the long, impressive finish. Only the best grapes are hand-selected to produce this top value rosé.
Li Veli Rosato 2021
$32.99
This wine is made with Negroamaro grapes and is generally known as a ‘one night wine’, not becauase of its quaffability, but because of the short maceration time on the skins. Bright pink with salmon and raspberry reflex; fruity bouquet with delicated red fruit and flower notes; in the mouth it is balanced, pleasant and full, with fresh acidity. Fruity aftertaste.
90 Points - Vinous (Eric Guido) May 2020:
The 2019 Masseria Li Veli Primerose is spicy and smoky from the start, giving way to savory herbs, crushed stone, and notes of ripe pear. On the palate, soft textures are contrasted by saturating minerals and juicy acids, as this seems to hover over the senses, gaining pretty inner florals that last throughout the long and peppery finish. Negroamaro Rosato is always so unique and still an under-the-radar gem from Italy
