Reverdito Barolo Bricco Cogni 2016
$149.99
Vineyard: La Morra
Production: 4,000 bottles
Soil: Marl
From Michele Reverdito’s favourite cru comes Barolo Bricco Cogni, planted by Silvano Reverdito in 1967, the year he was married. An aromatic powerhouse in 2016 with dark cherry, plum, lavender, spice and licorice all melding beautifully together. This is super-impressive in the early going. Truly a Barolo of class and character, the Bricco Cogni has so much to offer.

89-91 Pts, Robert Parker: Composed of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Cuvée Compostelle gives up stewed plums, baked black cherries and spice box notes with chocolate and tilled soil hints. The palate is full and packed with black fruits, with a plush texture and spicy finish.

Barrel-aged for 12 months in French Oak.
Chateau Peyrabon Haut Medoc 2019
$45.99
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 5% Cab Franc, 4% Petit Verdot
91 points Decanter: “A touch of exotic spice, sweet cinnamon, white pepper, raisins, dried fruit and red cherries. This has a lovely, dense and chewy texture with bright red fruit flavours such as raspberries, strawberries and red cherries. Fruit-forward and confident. Acidity keeps things lifted and fresh, and this has an appealing brightness, even a touch too bright at this point - the acidity and fruit need more time to integrate.”
La Cour d’Argent Bordeaux Superieur 2018
$36.99
"Blended of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 de la Cour d'Argent opens with fragrant rose hip and lavender scents over notions of black and red plums with a kirsch undercurrent. Medium-bodied with a firm structure of grainy tannins, it has understated fruit and a restrained finish." - Wine Enthusiast
Reverdito Barolo Castagni 2016
$99.99
Vineyard: La Morra
Production: 6,000 bottles
Soil: Marl & Limestone
Castagni vineyard lies at an altitude of 370 to 450 metres above sea level. Given the near perfect vintage, the 2016 Castagni offers beautiful drinking now but will most certainly reward cellaring. Incredible value for money here in such a pricey and sought after vintage. Lots of typical dark morello cherry and forest fruit, sweet spice and leather with a more savoury, smoky finish and firm but rounded tannins. This is a remarkably harmonious young Barolo.
Dalem Fronsac 2018
$79.99
90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc
93 Points, Wine Spectator: Offers a gently steeped profile, featuring plum and blackberry compote flavors, lined with a light toasty thread. A tobacco note lingers.
93 Points, Robert Parker: A deep garnet-purple color and compelling notes of blackberry preserves, wild blueberries and ripe, juicy black plums, with hints of dark chocolate, licorice and black olives. The full-bodied palate appears bright and fresh with the lively black fruits framed by soft, velvety tannin's, finishing long and savory. Nicely done!
