One of the most famous and respected vineyards in La Morra municipality. Barolo from La Serra is known for its elegance and freshness. Reverdito’s 2016 La Serra is wonderfully silky and refined yet powerful, with all of the lift that is such a signature of this high-altitude vineyard.
50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 25% Cinsault
A deep ruby red. The nose dances with aromas of black cherries and blackberries, while the alluring palate sings with complex notes of balsam, spices, and wild blackberries. Suggestions of cocoa and mocha anchor the perfectly-balanced ending.
Beautiful red color. Intense nose of red fruits. Well-balanced on the palate with round and integrated tannins. Supple and easy-drinking wine. Best served with grilled meats, roasts, salads or soft cheeses.
The Nebbiolo that comes off this property is some of the best in La Morra. Even in challenging vintages the Monfalletto terroir yields Nebbiolo that is both powerful and supple. Insiders know that this is one of the best terroirs in Barolo.
