Canadian Club Chronicles Issue 2 is a 42-year-old whisky called The Dock Man crafted to celebrate dock workers who loaded sea freighters with crates of Canadian Club whisky to be delivered to bar owners and consumers during the American prohibition. This ‘Dock Man’ bottling follows the launch of the original Canadian Club Chronicles: Issue 1 (Aged 41 Years). The second release in the Chronicles series from Canadian Club was recently awarded 96 points by Whisky Advocate. Aromas of robust rye spice, caramel and oak; the palate, brown sugar, baking spice and char notes; medium-bodied and sweet with notes of toffee and a balanced tartness are capped by a long finish.

Clear with a complex bouquet of rich barley, bees wax and honeycomb with hints of clover. On the palate, it is instantly mouth-filling with a full-bodied honey and graham cracker character. At 45%, it has a powerful long finish with warm caramel nuances. A perfect base for coffee drinks, full-flavoured cocktails and delicious when sipped on its own. 45% alc./vol.
