Aydie 2016/21 Pacherenc Du Vic Bilh Swee

$49.99

A silvery yellow, this wine is perfectly brilliant and clear. Exotic fruits and honeyed notes on the nose, a combination of delicacy and strength. The lively attack on the palate is in complete balance with the rich, fat structure. The finish is a caress of citrus fruits and a long vanilla sweetness, typical of grapes dried on the vine. This sweet wine has enormous potential. To be drunk cold at 8° to 10°C and pairs perfectly with foie gras and cheeses.

This product is 500mL.

Translucent gold in color with hints of brown, a nose of smoky caramel with subtle truffle, and a palate of yellow apple with warm clove and Middle Eastern spices. The wine exhibits a rich sweetness balanced by its natural acidity, resulting in a long and complex finish.

Tasted in 2019 by Greg Sherwood MW,  “Brine, tangerine peel, citrus, naartjie and pithy spicy herbal lift. Rich, sweet / sour tartness, bright, vibrant, deliciously juicy. Great salty opulence. Superb.” – 96pts, Greg Sherwood
