Coquard Beaujolais ’69’ 2020
Classic aromas of raspberry and wild strawberry dominate, with playful hints of blackcurrant to round it out. The complex minerality fleshes out the gentle tannins, resulting in a satin-smooth mouthfeel and a memorable finish. Best enjoyed on the cooler side (11-12° C) and great with charcuterie, poultry and cheeses.
La Gabinele Belandes Minervois 2015
Grenache 40 %, Syrah 60 % An incredibly expressive bouquet: peony, violet, white pepper, cocoa, eucalyptus and star anise. An impressive palate from the outset with powerful flavour. The body is vibrant, unctuous and sensual leading to a mineral and acid driven finish. With its power and juiciness, Bélandes goes perfectly with braised lamb, roasted rabbit or roast duck.
Coquard Moulin A Vent 2019
Moulin a Vent is one of the oldest and most renowned Beaujolais Crus. 2019 was a lovely concentrated vintage bursting
Reverdito Barolo Ascheri 2016
Vineyard: La Morra Production: 4,000 bottles Soil: Marl Barolo produced here is best described as “warm-hearted”. Michele’s Barolo Ascheri comes from the classic chalky soils of La Morra about 250 meters up the steep hillside, inter-planted with several types of grasses and beans to aid biodiversity and soil structure. The resulting wine has an enticing nose of flowers, ripe strawberries and dark cherries, and a good mouthful of plummy ripe elegant fruit. This deceptively mid-weight Barolo has a ton to offer.
Can’ Leandro Panxut 2019
100% Bonicaire (an indigenous Spanish grape) Fragrant red fruit aromas with hints of currant, ripe strawberries and orange zest. Fresh yet soft on the palate, with mouthwatering herbs tinged with a dash of spice.
Collemattoni Adone Toscana IGT 2019
95% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot. A knockout at its price point. Enjoyable now, with the addition of Merlot increasing the suppleness of the fruit and palate. Delicate aromatics of red fruits, underbrush, truffles, violet petals, and spices spring from the glass. Sleek and polished, with some mocha and gentle herbal notes adding to the palate. Collemattoni is Certied Organic
Reverdito Barolo La Serra 2016
Vineyard: La Morra Production: 2,795 bottles Soil: Limestone, Clay & Sand One of the most famous and respected vineyards in La Morra municipality. Barolo from La Serra is known for its elegance and freshness. Reverdito’s 2016 La Serra is wonderfully silky and refined yet powerful, with all of the lift that is such a signature of this high-altitude vineyard.
Croix Mouton Bordeaux Superieur 2018
Ripe and well-balanced with a hint of spice. Delicious notes of blackcurrant play perfectly with the rich tannins. Big on flavour, it is primed to enjoy now.
